ISO 9001 — Quality Management
ISO 9001 is about how your organisation manages quality. It looks at areas such as customer requirements, work processes, quality checks, handling problems and improving the way the business works.
Reliable Certification is an independent ISO certification body providing audits and certification across the UK.
We certify organisations for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 22301 through a clear and straightforward audit process.
Reliable Certification currently provides certification for five management system standards.
ISO 9001 is about how your organisation manages quality. It looks at areas such as customer requirements, work processes, quality checks, handling problems and improving the way the business works.
ISO 14001 is about how your organisation manages its effect on the environment. It can cover waste, energy use, use of resources, environmental responsibilities and the steps your organisation takes to reduce its environmental impact.
ISO 45001 is about keeping people safe and healthy at work. It looks at workplace hazards, health and safety risks, responsibilities and the controls used to help prevent work-related injury and ill health.
ISO/IEC 27001 is about protecting business and customer information. It looks at how information is stored, who can access it, how security risks are managed and what controls are in place to reduce the risk of data loss, misuse or cybersecurity incidents.
ISO 22301 is about helping an organisation keep important work running when something goes wrong. This could include an IT failure, loss of a key supplier, power problems or another event that interrupts normal operations. The standard focuses on planning ahead, keeping important services running and recovering as quickly as possible.

We audit and certify management systems. We do not build the same system that we later assess.

You provide basic information about your organisation, the ISO standard you need, your activities, number of sites and the area you want included in certification.
We review the information and arrange the audit based on your organisation and the ISO standard you are applying for.
Stage 1 checks whether your management system is ready for the main certification audit.
The auditor reviews key information about your system and how it has been set up.
Stage 2 looks at how the system works in your day-to-day operations.
The auditor reviews relevant records, processes and other evidence to check whether the requirements of the standard are being followed.
If any issues are found, they must be dealt with as required.
The audit results are then reviewed. If certification is approved, a certificate is issued for the agreed scope.
